Each abstract will be reviewed, and a committee composed of the members of the Society from various specialties will vote on the best abstracts.  The three or four best submissions will be presented as oral presentations.  Abstracts may have been presented in the recent past (1/1/10 – present) or be scheduled to be presented at another meeting in the near future, but should not have been previously published as a complete article. 

The deadline for submission is midnight Friday, February 11, 2011.  Please encourage your residents and fellows to submit a maximum of two abstracts.  All abstracts should be submitted in MS Word format, one page, single spaced, 10 or 12 font.  Standard format: title, authors, institution, objective, methods, results, conclusion.  The file name for the abstract should be the authors last name, followed by a number if there are >1 abstracts from the same author.  The presenting author’s name should be underlined and parenthetically noted as “resident” or “fellow” and also include the name of the institution.  All abstracts should be sent to Acquinetta Adams electronically at adamsac@umdnj.edu.
